A random jitter of 0.1 was added to the x and y virome point values for pictorial clarity. Family-level virome composition was significantly influenced by host specificity (PERMANOVA p-value = 0.043), while non-viral microbiome compositions were significantly influenced by both host taxonomy and sampling location (PERMANOVA p-values = 0.001 and 0.006, respectively)
